The Pfeifer Group will align its market presence uniformly across the entire Group in the future, thereby strengthening the long-term development of its Finnish sites. As of June 1, 2026, the production company in Finland will operate under the name Pfeifer Nordics Oy, and sales activities will be integrated into the newly established branch of Pfeifer Timber GmbH in Helsinki.
With this step, Pfeifer is consolidating its international presence while also highlighting the particular importance of Finland for the Group as a whole. The standardization of company names is part of a clear strategic direction and underlines the long-term commitment to the Finnish sites as a central production and competence hub within the European timber industry.

In Kajaani, this has included the comprehensive modernization of one of the most advanced sawmills in Northern Europe. New sawing and drying capacities, modern equipment, and integration into the European production network ensure long-term competitiveness and sustainability. These investments reflect a clear long-term perspective that goes beyond short-term market cycles.
